Hi, I’m Gourav Shakya, the Founder and CEO of TRUE GARDENING 🌿
My journey with plants began long before this brand ever existed. Over 12 years ago, I was just a person deeply in love with gardening — planting new seeds every day, nurturing tiny saplings, and feeling pure joy watching them bloom 🌸.
But in the beginning, it wasn’t easy. I struggled to find good quality seeds and healthy plants, both online and offline. Many times, the seeds didn’t sprout, or the plants I bought weren’t what they promised to be. It was frustrating — not just for me, but for anyone who loved gardening as much as I did.
Yet, I never gave up. 🌱 Every failed seed taught me something new. Every wilted plant made me more determined to grow stronger roots — in gardening, and in life.
Then, on June 5, 2017, I started my YouTube journey 🎥 — a small channel with a big dream: to share my love for gardening with the world. Slowly, my YouTube family began to grow. Together, we learned, planted, and celebrated the beauty of nature.
But one thought kept blooming in my heart —
“If I can’t find good quality seeds and plants, why not create a place where my gardening family can?” 🌻
And that’s how TRUE GARDENING was born.
